NaNoWriMo & Colored Lights

NaNoWriMo: I'm IN!! (I say that every October, but this year, I signed up.) It's very exciting, and I am fired up to do the prep. While you are patiently (THANK YOU) waiting for the serial blogging of the Blunderland sequel here, and for "Reprehensible Day," here is another tasty treat from my year-long poetry project, A Loop Around The Sun:

Ode To The Reflection Of Colored Lights On The Wall

Motionless, we pirouette,
Not clouds, but just as subtle.
We’ve glowing, wordless etiquette,
 Tints, vivid. Shadows puddle.

We blend; we are self - similar,
Not trying to be admired.
Two dimensions, yet calicular
Ungraspable glass, cold fired.
